Hi, I’m Flora Hendriksen. I’ve spent over 30 years living with and learning from chronic pain, and now I want to share what I’ve discovered to help you on your journey to healing.
Thanks to Flora, I went from feeling angry and believing that I was diminished for the rest of my life, to feeling empowered and having significantly reduced my level of pain. Since the very start, I clearly trusted her and I trusted that with her I could overcome the challenges of dealing with chronic pain. In addition to being very knowledgeable on the science behind chronic pain, Flora is also very sensitive and understands the many layers behind what you say. She has this ability to understand what you need and provide the best personalized guidance & support. She is committed, she is passionate and she has this savior energy that I needed to trust that I could create a reality without pain !! I could not be more grateful to have her by my side.
Flora's strength lies in her rich holistic knowledge in which she reasons everything as much as possible from a scientific point of view. As an expert by experience, she can give advice, the right information sources and do exercises with you that you can implement as practical tools in your daily life. 🙏 for helping me on my way with useful and practical exercises to create a healthier lifestyle with the aim of reducing chronic pain. During the period that we did weekly online sessions, I did various exercises, breathing exercises and meditations with you in a disciplined manner, which I still use regularly.
The BrainHack program is designed for individuals experiencing chronic symptoms in any part of the body. It is particularly beneficial for those who suspect they may have T.M.S. or Central Sensitization and for those who are open to exploring these concepts.
Tension Myositis Syndrome (T.M.S.) is a term coined by Dr. John Sarno in 1985. It refers to a condition where physical pain manifests in one or multiple locations in the body, often linked to psychological factors. T.M.S. can also be associated with burnout symptoms. The core idea is that by addressing underlying emotional trauma or unresolved rage, physical pain, such as herniated disc pain, may diminish.
Central Sensitization is a condition similar to T.M.S., as defined by Dr. Professor Johan Neijs. It involves an increased sensitivity of the nervous system to stimuli, leading to heightened pain perception. This can result in chronic pain conditions, even in the absence of a physical injury.
The BrainHack program combines mental coaching, mindfulness practices, and personalized training techniques to help individuals rewire their brain and nervous system. Through guided exercises and support, participants learn to identify and address the psychological components of their pain.
